The
facility has been provided by Middlesbrough Council
in partnership with local users. It is solely
for use by skateboards, BMX bikes and inline skates.
Managed and maintained by Streetscene Services,
it is flloodlit, covered by CCTV, manned daily,
and secured by design. Also has car park which holds 20 - 30 cars.
LOCATION
The plaza is situated at: Prissick Base, Marton Road, Middlesbrough, TS4 3SA which
is in the North-East of England.
OPENING TIMES
The opening times for the plaza are:
Monday - Sunday -- 10.00am-8.30pm
Plaza gates will be locked by park ranger each evening.
DIRECTIONS
Car:Take A19 until the junction
for A174. Follow A174 towards
Redcar. Take turn off for A172 following
signs for Hospital. Go past
Stewart Park, Prissick Plaza is located on
right hand side shortly after traffic lights. If you
reach James Cook Hospital you have gone too far.
Train:Take train from Middlesbrough Train
Station to Marton Station, The Grove.
Bus:
Bus No's 20, 21, 28, 29, 62,
67, 67/A, 90, 610, 632, 762 can be taken from
stands 5, 6, 7 at Middlebrough Bus
Station.
Please Note: If weather is bad the plaza will be closed. It is advisable to contact the plaza before setting off.
